Summer update

I am a firm believer in investing in basic items (Jeans, blazers, pumps etc.) and buying more affordable trend items each season. I have found 6 summer items incorporating 2012 hot trends; stripes, color blocking, colored denim and prints for summer for under $200!! I received my second stylemint tee last week & I highly reccomend them they are beyond soft.

Houstonites im so sorry to debue an H&M blouse; its a very sore subject with me at the moment but i am informed that the 1st store will open in Willowbrook in June; count down....4/5 weeks! Do i hear...roadtrip?

Now go....a whole season for $200....actually $189; makes my heart (& bank account) very happy!

Today kicks off the Houston Live Stock Show & Rodeo! Pink Friday and Tea & Turquoise couldn't be more excited a month full of boots, denim, turquoise and fringe fashions. I got the opportunity last night to attend and model at Elaine Turner's Valentines Night Party courtesy of the theprboutique. My good friend and stylist Jessica Mooney styled 3 awesome date night looks. I wore a Kate Spade wrap dress with the Lilly Elaine Turner clutch and Wedges; very fun for a home cooked dinner.....ohhlaalaa. I am in love with the clutch above I received from Elaine Turner. Its the perfect amount of color and sparkles to dress up a casual daytime outfit or add to a simple dress for a night out. More to come on this doll!

Currently lusting after these for the summer......must remember next time my unnecessary target cart is $100.....2 times just 2.

I love this tweed jacket as it is as close to Chanel Tweed i will get for a while; a girl can dream; right?  Boyfriend jeans are something i never thought i would buy however i have been pleasantly surprised; they are super comfortable and becoming a go to for casual Saturdays. I like the contrast of something so casual with something more formal. These jeans are currently at the tailor and i cant wait to get them back.....
